The use of chemical reaction instruments such as rotary evaporators,
centrifugal concentrators and variety evaporators can not be separated from the
function of vacuum pump. People usually choose the circulating water vacuum pump
as the supporting product of rotary evaporators, but with the development of
science and technology, the diaphragm vacuum pump used in laboratory has
gradually replaced the circulating water vacuum pump and has been accepted by
the majority of users.
Although the price of circulating water vacuum pump is
affordable, it will encounter some problems in use, such as poor corrosion
resistance of organic solvents, insufficient vacuum degree, slow distillation
speed of DMSO, bad smell in laboratory, need to change water for cooling and so
on. However, these problems are not problems for diaphragm vacuum pump used in
laboratory.
