At present, some
customers are not very clear about the maintenance of the vacuum pump, mainly
focusing on the simple replacement of three filters and one oil, thus ignoring
other maintenance. The efficient and energy-saving operation of the vacuum pump
provides a strong guarantee for production and is inseparable from correct
maintenance. Therefore, in addition to the normal maintenance of three filters
and one oil, attention should also be paid to the maintenance of the motor and
valve parts of the vacuum pump.
#Maintenance of motor
The motor runs every
4000 hours or once a year, whichever comes first, and special high-temperature
grease needs to be added (Atlas Copco motor high-temperature grease part No.
2901033803). The motor speed of the vacuum pump is very high. For a commonly
used pump, the Z high speed of GHS 900 VSD + is close to 5600 rpm, which is
nearly twice as fast as that of the air compressor with the same power of 22KW.
Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the lubrication of motor
bearings. If the motor grease with the wrong model is not added for a long time,
it is easy to cause poor lubrication of the motor and damage the motor in
serious cases.
The bearing of the vacuum pump on the customer's site was
damaged and the motor was burnt out due to neglect of the maintenance of the
motor. It is suggested that the motor grease filling gun Z of the vacuum pump
should be dedicated to avoid mixing with the filling gun used by other different
equipment using different types of motor grease.
In addition, the motor needs
to be overhauled every 24000 hours to avoid sudden damage to the motor and
greater loss due to the service life of the motor bearing.
#Maintenance of
temperature control valve
The main function of the temperature control valve
is to control the oil temperature and prevent the oil temperature from being too
high and too low. If the oil temperature is too low, it will not only affect the
lubrication efficiency of the system, but also have the risk of condensate
precipitation, which will accelerate the emulsification of vacuum pump
lubricating oil and bring risks to the normal operation of the equipment. If the
oil temperature is too high, it will accelerate the aging and deterioration of
the lubricating oil of the vacuum pump, increase the oil change frequency of
customers, bring more maintenance costs and affect the service life of the
equipment.
