1. Installation of rotary vane vacuum pump
The rotary vane vacuum pump should be placed horizontally. When the pump is running, there is almost no vibration and it is generally not fixed. The damper hole on the bottom of the XD rotary vane vacuum pump has a metric screw hole to fix the pump. Do not push or pull the pump on the ground to avoid damage to the vibration damping block.
In order to ensure good cooling of the chip vacuum pump, the air inlet and outlet of the pump cooling air should be more than 30cm away from the surrounding objects. For ease of maintenance, it is recommended to leave a gap of 0.4 m in front of the inlet and exhaust ports of the rotary vane vacuum pump. A base with a drain pan can be installed for easy draining.
The pump delivered by the rotary vane vacuum pump does not have oil. After installation, slowly inject the specified vacuum pump oil (see maintenance 5.1) through the filler port to 3/4 of the height of the oil window.
2, the electrical connection of the rotary vane vacuum pump
The electrical wiring of the rotary vane vacuum pump must be carried out by a professional electrician. Appropriate motor overload protection should be used.
The single-phase 220V50HZ vacuum pump must ensure that the voltage is within the range of 220V±10%. If the voltage is lower than 220V, it must be equipped with an AC power regulator. Do not work under low pressure and high pressure for a long time to avoid damage to the motor.
After the wiring of the rotary vane vacuum pump three-phase asynchronous motor is completed, the motor rotation must be checked. The correct rotation of the motor is: the direction of rotation of the motor shaft is counterclockwise from the fan end of the motor.
When the rotary vane vacuum pump checks the direction of rotation, the suction port should be opened or completely covered with a rubber plate (thickness of 4 mm or more), and the power supply is turned on for 2 to 3 seconds. If you turn right, you will feel strong suction or rubber sheet in the suction port and hold it tightly. If it is reversed, adjust any two of the three power cables.
Note: The rotary vane vacuum pump will run out of error for a long time and will be damaged.
3. System connection of rotary vane vacuum pump
The rotary vane vacuum pump intake pipe should be cut to a size not less than the suction port size and as short as possible. The threaded joint is vacuum sealed with a Loctite 515 or Teflon belt.
If the gas to be pumped contains dust, a dust filter must be installed at the inlet end of the pump. If necessary, take over the exhaust and the exhaust pipe should be tilted downwards.
4, the start of the rotary vane vacuum pump
The rotary vane vacuum pump can be started after the oil level is determined. After the first start and after each change of wiring, it is necessary to check the rotation to the rear to start the rotary vane vacuum pump.
5, the operation of the rotary vane vacuum pump
Before normal operation, the intake pipe should be closed to allow the pump to run for more than 15 minutes under extreme pressure conditions, which effectively removes water vapor from the gas. The motor should not be started frequently (should be less than 6 times/hour). It is recommended to install a solenoid valve on the pump intake pipe during intermittent cycle operation, and close the solenoid valve in the non-working phase to operate the pump under extreme pressure conditions. The power is not much, but it can effectively protect the vacuum pump.
Note: 1. During normal operation, the surface temperature of the oil separator, pumping, pump cover, etc. will exceed 70 °C, do not touch with your hands.
2. The rotary vane vacuum pump cannot be refueled while it is running.
6. Ultimate pressure measurement of rotary vane vacuum pump
The ultimate pressure of the rotary vane vacuum pump should be measured directly at the suction port of the pump using a compression vacuum gauge. After the pump is used for the first time, after being used for a long time, after use for new oil, the inlet should be closed for at least 1 hour, and then the rotary vane vacuum pump can reach the working temperature and the pump oil can be fully degassed to measure the ultimate pressure.
