vortex pump, magnetic drive gear pump, magnetic drive rotor pump and other
special purpose magnetic drive pump.
2. Development of magnetic pump in
China
China's magnetic pump started in the late 1970s, there is still a big
gap between China and foreign advanced level in terms of high power and high
reliability. At the end of 1970s, according to the prototype of micro magnetic
pump in imported film equipment, the development of micro magnetic pump was
carried out in China. The matching power of the magnetic pump developed in the
1980s is generally less than 18.5kw, and the speed is ordinary, and the
efficiency is lower than that of the general mechanical drive pump.

present, the domestic magnetic pump design and development, manufacturing
technology, materials and other aspects have made great progress, can produce
200 kW magnetic pump. The fluid mechanical engineering technology research
center of Jiangsu University cooperates with the pump industry enterprises to
develop large-scale low NPSH chemical magnetic pump, large-scale multi-stage
magnetic pump and high-speed magnetic pump. The application of magnetic pump in
chemical industry will be more and more, and will replace all kinds of
centrifugal pump with mechanical seal.
