Drying method of
compressed air:
For industrial applications, compressed air dryer has become
one of the most important parts in the compression process. The simple fact is
that air drying must be carried out. Although air itself is compressible, water
is not. The three most common ways to eliminate vaporized air can be summarized
as follows:
Lower the temperature and reheat. When the air is cool, the
moisture will condense and eventually be discharged, and then the reheated air
should be free of moisture.
The air is over compressed, the temperature is
reduced, the condensate is discharged, and the normal pressure is restored. The
method is expensive and therefore rare.
Water is absorbed from the air by
special materials and then discharged from the compressor.
