Desulfurization principle: limestone or lime
is used as desulfurization absorbent. Limestone is crushed and ground into
powder and mixed with water to form absorption slurry. When lime is used as
absorbent, lime powder is digested and added with water to make absorbent
slurry. When the absorption liquid is atomized and sprayed into flue gas through
nozzle, the absorption liquid is dispersed into small droplets and covers the
entire section of the absorption tower. These droplets are absorbed by SO2 when
they are in countercurrent contact with flue gas. In this way, SO2 is absorbed
in the absorption area, and the oxidation and neutralization reaction of the
absorbent is completed in the liquid storage area at the bottom of the
absorption tower to form gypsum.

efficiency (desulfurization rate is up to 95%); Single machine can handle large
amount of flue gas, which can be matched with large boilers; The technology is
mature and the operation reliability is good (the operation rate of this
desulfurization device in foreign thermal power plants can generally reach more
than 98%); It has strong adaptability to the change of coal type (whether it is
high sulfur coal with sulfur content greater than 3% or low sulfur coal with
sulfur content less than 1%, the desulfurization process can adapt to it),
especially high sulfur coal; Abundant absorbent resources and low price;
Desulfurization by-products are convenient for comprehensive utilization; The

investment cost is too high, the operation cost is high, the process flow is
complex, the floor area is large, the one-time construction investment is
relatively large, the system management operation is complex, the wear and
corrosion phenomenon is serious, the by-product gypsum can be exported, and the
