Liquid ring vacuum pump (hereinafter referred to as liquid ring pump) is a kind of coarse vacuum pump. Causes of Noise in Liquid ring Vacuum Pump
1. It can't start or it's noisy.
Possible causes: insufficient supply voltage of motor; motor phase-absent operation; long-term uselessness of pump leads to rust; inhalation of impurities in pump; impeller drag distribution plate.
Elimination methods: check whether the supply voltage is too low; check whether the motor wiring is reliable; if the pump is not used for a long time, it can point the rust remover or open the pump cover to remove the rust artificially; open the pump cover to remove impurities; adjust the distance between the impeller and the distribution plate.
2. Reasons for insufficient vacuum
Possible reasons: insufficient power supply of motor leads to insufficient speed; insufficient water supply; excessive gap between impeller and distributor plate; breakage of mechanical seal leads to leakage; excessive wear of impeller; inadequate drainage of circulating water.
Exclusion: Check whether the supply voltage is within the rated voltage range of the motor; Increase the water supply (must be controlled in the correct range, otherwise the motor will overload and heat); Adjust the clearance between the impeller and the distribution plate (generally 0.15-0.20 mm); Replace the mechanical seal; Replace the impeller; Check the pipeline of the outlet.
