when the water ring vacuum pump reverses and how to prevent it

We can see from the
picture; Suppose it is a reverse case;
1. The inlet and exhaust ends will be
reversed. Due to the bending direction of the impeller, the inlet end will
exhaust and drain slightly, and the exhaust end will intake slightly, but it
will not achieve its rated effect.
2. If it operates for a long time, it is
possible to turn negative pressure into positive pressure, but there will be no
vacuum.
3. In addition to the impeller, the water ring pump also has a very
important thing, the valve plate. When the water pump reverses, the valve plate
loses its function.
4. As for any damage, the problem is not big, and the
impeller bolts may be loose.
Prevent reverse rotation. In order not to loosen
the lock nut on the rotor, it is recommended that you disconnect the coupling
and test the motor.
After reversing, you will not be able to exhaust, and
your suction vacuum will be very low or not. As long as the motor is not
connected to the wrong line, it is impossible to turn over.
