Causes of high noise of water injection pump

The water injection pump vibrates and makes large noise, which is caused by pump evacuation, cavitation or mechanical failure.
(1) The pump is not vented before starting or the air in the pump is not completely vented;
(2) The impeller and inlet pipeline support are not fixed firmly and the filter screen is blocked, resulting in insufficient water supply;
(3) The connection part at the inlet end of the pump or the sealing packing is not tightly sealed and has air leakage;
(4) The bearing bush is seriously worn and the clearance is too large;
(5) The pump displacement is controlled too large or too small, causing cavitation or pump suffocation;
(6) Impeller damage or vibration caused by rotor imbalance;
(7) The pump shaft is bent or the pump shaft is not concentric, resulting in mutual friction between the rotor and stator;
(8) The balance disc is seriously worn and fails, resulting in excessive axial thrust;
(9) The foundation bolt is not fixed firmly, which makes the motor vibrate and then causes the pump vibration, or the construction, design and installation quality is unqualified;
(10) The coupling is not concentric, the connecting bolt is loose or the damping rubber ring is damaged, resulting in imbalance and non vibration absorption.
