Why does fluoroplastic self-priming pump absorb water very slowly

Self priming pump is a centrifugal pump that can automatically pump water up without filling the suction pipeline with water. There are many structural types of fluoroplastic self-priming pump.
Generally speaking, the structure of fzb self-priming pump adopts self-priming structure, the pump body adopts metal shell lined with fluoroplastic, all flow-through parts are made of fluoroplastic alloy, the pump cover and impeller are made of metal insert wrapped with fluoroplastic, sintered and pressed as a whole, the shaft seal adopts external advanced bellows mechanical seal, and the static ring adopts 99.9% alumina ceramic (or silicon nitride), The moving ring is made of Teflon filling material, and its corrosion resistance, wear resistance and sealing performance are very stable.
Fzb fluoroplastic self-priming pump sometimes experiences slow water absorption during use. Here are the reasons and solutions:
1. When the fluoroplastic self-priming pump is used for the first time, the pump body needs to be filled with liquid to absorb water normally. If the pump cavity is not filled with water, resulting in water shortage in the pump control, there is air in the pump cavity that needs to be discharged by the self-priming pump, which will greatly prolong the water filling time of the self-priming pump, Therefore, the pump control must be filled with liquid to make the self-priming pump water quickly.
2. Air leakage may not be found in the suction pipe of the self-priming pump, such as weak air leakage at the pipe joint, flange joint and quick joint joint joint, which may be the reason for the slow water filling and rotation of the self-priming pump, Therefore, before installing the pipeline, both ends of the pipeline must be completely sealed, and then pressurize or pump negative pressure to test whether the pipeline has air leakage points, and then install the fixed pipeline after confirmation, If the pipeline has been installed, the method to check the suction leakage point of the self-priming pump is to fill the self-priming pump with liquid and turn it on for 5-6 minutes, then stop the machine, and then close your ears to the place where the leakage is suspected, listen to whether there is a whistling sound, find the leakage point and repair it.
3. The self-priming height of fzb self-priming pump is about meters. Due to the error between the self-priming height published by some manufacturers and the high bottom of the actual self-priming pump, it will lead to the difficulty of filling water for the self-priming pump after the user is installed according to the standard of more than 3m during installation and use. In this case, you can consider replacing the high suction pump, The suction pipe diameter of the pump can also be reduced, which can effectively improve the self-priming height of the self-priming pump. After reduction, the outlet should also be reduced by one grade, but the flow will also be reduced.
4. Due to the fierce competition in the market, many manufacturers have made the self-priming pump body relatively small, so the cost will be reduced. After the pump body is small, there will be little liquid stored by the self-priming pump, and the self-priming capacity of the self-priming pump itself will be very general. At the same time, they do not consider optimizing and upgrading the self-priming performance, which will reduce the self-priming capacity of the self-priming pump, Therefore, you will find that this kind of self-priming pump with small pump body has very low self-priming capacity, and it is likely to add water again every time in use.
5. Due to the design problems of some self-priming pump products, the steam water separation speed is very slow and the separation effect is poor. It is difficult to feel the gas discharged from the exhaust valve of the self-priming pump in the process of self-priming and exhaust, which indicates that the steam water separation effect of the self-priming pump is not good.
6. The reason for the slow suction of the self-priming pump may also be that the user has changed the diameter of the suction pipe of the self-priming pump during installation and use, making the diameter larger. Due to the larger diameter, there will be more air in the pipe and reduce the suction of self-priming. For example, sucking a small suction pipe and a large suction pipe with a mouth clearly feels that the suction of the small pipe is large.

What is the material of rotary vane of rotary vane vacuum pump? Is it fiberglass or carbon fiber?
