Troubleshooting of dry vacuum pump


Today, we will focus on the troubleshooting of dry vacuum pump. Before mastering the troubleshooting skills of the dry vacuum pump, it is necessary to know its working principle and application scope, so as to determine the necessary operation skills and mechanical maintenance knowledge of the dry vacuum pump, and quickly determine the fault location according to the abnormal conditions of the pump.
Correctly mastering the maintenance requirements of dry vacuum pump can reduce the equipment failure caused by inadequate equipment maintenance.
Maintenance procedures for dry vacuum pump:
1 operation precautions
(1) Check whether the equipment and pipes are connected normally before each startup.
(2) Before starting, make sure that the air inlet and exhaust pipes are free of foreign matters. First, open the pipeline valve at the air outlet to prevent pressure holding.
(3) After starting the vacuum pump, open the air inlet pipeline valve again to prevent foreign matters from entering the cavity and causing jamming
(4) Observe the oil level window and check whether the lubricating oil is sufficient
(5) For the working condition containing viscous substances or dust, the filter screen and pump chamber shall be cleaned regularly. It is recommended to clean before stopping the pump every time
(6) Open the motor cover and rotate the motor shaft for 5-10 turns or steam for 10 minutes if the machine is not started smoothly after the intermittent condition shutdown
(7) When the condensable gas is extracted or the ambient humidity is too high, a proper amount of dry air shall be introduced before stopping the pump and the pump cavity shall be emptied
(8) To stop the pump for a long time, it is necessary to close the air inlet valve, start the vacuum pump for 20 minutes, then close the discharge port, and then stop the pump to avoid water vapor entering
(9) Ensure that the quantity and temperature of circulating cooling water in operation meet the technical requirements, and stop the pump in case of water interruption;
(10) When the ambient temperature is lower than zero, the circulating cooling water flow shall be ensured when the pump is stopped to prevent the cavity from frost cracking
(11) Under the working condition with condensable gas, the exhaust pipe must be lower than the exhaust port, the exhaust port shall be upward, the tee shall be connected, and the recovery tank shall be connected below.
