What is the overload of Roots vacuum pump motor?

Generally speaking, roots vacuum pump starts under normal conditions, and there will be no overload. Some users reported that it was difficult to start the roots vacuum pump again after it was shut down for a period of time. This kind of instantaneous large load start-up of the vacuum roots vacuum pump will greatly shorten the service life of the roots vacuum pump, and may even make the roots vacuum pump shut down due to failure. Why does this happen?
We know that the installation of Roots vacuum pump requires that the body of Roots vacuum pump is lower than the vacuum point and also lower than the exhaust pipe. When roots vacuum pump stops after working for a period of time, the rest of the extracted water and water seal water will stay in the intake pipe and roots vacuum pump cavity, and its water level is enough to submerge the entire roots vacuum pump cavity.
Before start-up, if the residual water is not removed in time, when the roots vacuum pump starts, the static residual water has great resistance to the rotor in the cavity of the roots vacuum pump, which is the main reason for the difficulty of starting and pumping the roots vacuum pump. In order to solve this problem, a check valve (or 3 / 4 of the time) can be installed below the center line of the intake pipe of Roots vacuum pump, which can automatically discharge residual water. The function of the valve is to automatically close the valve when roots vacuum pump is working, and automatically discharge residual water immediately after shutdown.
When we use roots vacuum pump, we also need to pay attention to the following two problems:
1. The diameter of the suction and exhaust pipes must be consistent with the suction and exhaust holes of Roots vacuum pump. The distance between vacuum roots vacuum pump and vacuum tank shall be as short as possible. The fewer bends, the better. The centerline of suction pipe installation shall not be lower than the centerline of suction hole. The center line of the exhaust pipe shall not be higher than the center line of the exhaust hole.
2. For newly installed pipes, special attention shall be paid to the removal of dross, especially welding dross. Otherwise, at the moment when the roots vacuum pump starts, the dregs in the pipeline will soon be sucked into the roots vacuum pump, and the larger particles will enter between the two rotating rotors together with the water seal water by their own weight, so that the high-speed rotating rotor will be stuck immediately (when the user is testing the new roots vacuum pump). This is the case with the abnormal noise. It can even make the shaft elastic deformation or bending, and produce angular displacement between the rotors, which greatly shortens the service life of the blades of Roots vacuum pump.
