1) The vibration of the pump body is large, the dynamic and static rings of the mechanical seal will continue to have intermittent collision, leading to leakage, and the mechanical seal structure will fail in serious cases;
2) The compression of the dynamic and static rings of mechanical seal is the sum of the medium pressure and the preload of the spring. When the medium pressure is removed, the contact pressure of the dynamic and static rings will become smaller, and the seal will fail;
3) After the pump is pumped out, the end faces of the dynamic and static rings of the mechanical seal adopting the self flushing scheme (that is, flushing with the pumping medium) lose the cooling and lubrication, dry friction occurs, and the mechanical seal fails.
1、 Causes of evacuation
1. Air leakage occurred at the inlet of centrifugal pump.
2. The inlet of centrifugal pump is blocked.
3. The inlet pressure of centrifugal pump is not enough.
4. The medium temperature at the inlet of centrifugal pump is too high and the saturated steam is too large.
5. The inlet valve of centrifugal pump is not opened or the valve core falls off.
6. Centrifugal pump outlet opening is too large (small).
7. Centrifugal pump seal oil with water.
8. The liquid level in centrifugal pump tower or container is low or no liquid level.
9. Centrifugal pump impeller or inner wear ring wear seriously.
10. The motor of centrifugal pump reverses.
2、 The corresponding treatment method of evacuation
1. If there is air leakage at the inlet, stop the pump and check the leakage inlet pipeline and flange of the centrifugal pump.
2. If the inlet is blocked, stop the pump, check the leakage inlet pipeline and impeller of the centrifugal pump, and carry out maintenance after purging.
3. If the inlet pressure is not enough, the liquid level back pressure should be increased.
4. If the inlet medium temperature is too high, the medium temperature should be reduced to vent the steam in the centrifugal pump.
5. If the inlet valve is not opened or the valve core falls off, the valve should be opened or the pump should be replaced for maintenance.
6. If the outlet opening is too large (small), the valve opening should be adjusted appropriately.
7. If there is water in the sealed oil tank, dehydrate the sealed oil tank.
8. If the liquid level in the tower or container is low, the outlet valve of the centrifugal pump should be turned down temporarily or the pump should be stopped until the liquid level rises.
9. If the impeller or inner wear ring is worn, it should be replaced timely.
10. If the motor reverses, the steering should be adjusted in time.
