chemical pumps used by the major petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical,
printing and dyeing and other chemical enterprises in China can be divided into
metal pumps and non-metallic pumps. However, corrosion prevention is required.
Corrosion resistance is generally made of stainless steel. There are stainless
steel self-priming pumps and stainless steel magnetic pumps in stainless steel
pumps. Most of the non-metallic materials are cast iron shells lined with high
molecular polyethylene, such as desulfurization pumps and mortar pumps, and also
lined with fluoroplastic materials, such as fluoroplastic pumps, fluoroplastic
magnetic pumps, and fluoroplastic self-priming pumps. Today, let's talk about
the anti-corrosion measures of the stainless steel magnetic pump in the
stainless steel pump. Only with effective measures can the pump have a long life
and safe use in chemical production.
According to the physical analysis,
since ordinary chemical pumps are basically two-stage motor pumps, with a
rotating speed of 2900r/min, cavitation and turbulence corrosion easily caused
by excessive rotating speed are the main causes of corrosion, and F, Cl
intergranular separation and local corrosion, as well as high solid content are
another important causes of corrosion aggravation, so the pump should be
modified. Through the query and test of relevant data, stainless steel was
selected, A new type of stainless steel magnetic pump is also used. The
performance parameters of the pump are consistent with those of the previous
pump, while the speed is reduced by one time to 1450r/min, which significantly
reduces the corrosion rate. At the same time, the dynamic seal is used to
effectively prevent leakage.
Improve the material of the pump
Through the
analysis of the medium composition, it is decided to select a high grade
stainless steel, in which the composition of Cr, Mo and Ni shall be matched and
controlled accordingly. In addition, a certain amount of CLl element shall be
added to improve the corrosion resistance of the alloy, while improving the heat
treatment process level of parts and the accuracy of spare parts processing.
Stainless steel 304: general model; 18/8 stainless steel. Products such as:
corrosion resistant containers, tableware, furniture, railings, medical
equipment. The standard composition is 18% chromium plus 8% nickel. It is a
non-magnetic stainless steel whose metallographic structure cannot be changed by
heat treatment. GB grade is 0Cr18Ni9.
304 L: It has the same characteristics
as 304, but is low in carbon, so it is more corrosion resistant and easy to heat
treat, but has poor mechanical property, and is suitable for welding and not
easy to heat treat.
The practice has proved that the measures taken by our
factory are very effective to ensure the safety and stability of various
corrosion media, can obviously solve the corrosion problem, and has achieved
better economic and environmental benefits. Therefore, we believe that with the
improvement and development of manufacturing technology in the manufacturing
industry, the pump problem in the chemical industry will be gradually
