Solutions to Common Operation Faults of Vacuum Units


Common failures, but also summarized for you the causes of these failures and solutions. Common failures are:
1. Difficult starting, motor tripping or overcurrent
2. Stuck phenomenon during test run or operation
3. The inspiratory capacity decreased significantly.
4. Abnormal operation sound
5. great vibration
6. Heating of Bearing Parts
First: Start-up difficulties
Reason:
1. The liquid level in the liquid ring vacuum pump is too high when starting.
2. Rust on internal parts or ice inside the pump;
3. The discharge pressure increased.
4. Improper adjustment of current protection for distribution panel.
Processing methods:
1. Start according to the specified level (below the automatic drainage valve);
2. Pull the rotor forcefully, and water supply and flush, steam heating and melting ice;
3. Check whether the diameter of exhaust pipe and valve is too small.
4. Adjust thermal relay to current rating.
2. Stuck in test run or operation
Reason:
1. Foreign bodies such as welding slag and iron scraps are brought into the pump body by gas in the new pipeline.
2. Scaling is serious.
Processing methods:
1. The front and rear bolts can be loosened, the impellers can be rotated and washed with water, and the bolts can be tightened after flexible rotation. If it cannot be ruled out, it must be removed and inspected.
2. Dismantling and cleaning or pickling.
3. Inhalation volume decreased significantly.
Reason:
1. insufficient liquid supply or excessive liquid temperature;
2. There is leakage in the system.
3. Medium is corroded or brought into material abrasion, which enlarges the gap between internal parts and corrodes them.
4. After repair, the axial clearance does not meet the requirements.
5. The flexible valve plate is damaged.
Processing methods:
1. Adjust the quantity of liquid supply and check whether the pipeline is blocked.
2. Check the sealing of pipeline connection.
3. Replacement of parts;
4. readjust the axial clearance;
Replace valve plate.
Fourth: abnormal operation sound
Reason:
1. Gas scouring or injection;
2. Bearing failure
3. The wall of suction and exhaust pipes is too thin.
Processing methods:
1. Draw the exhaust outlet out of the room;
2. Check the temperature and sound of bearings, replace lubricants or replace bearings.
3. Use trachea with thicker wall.
V: Vibration
Reason:
1. Bad contact between machine base and foundation, loose anchor bolt;
2. Not good at alignment.
Processing methods:
1. Fill the base gap with concrete and tighten the anchor bolt.
2. Re-alignment and locking.
Sixth: Bearing part heating
Reason:
1. Misalignment of motor and liquid ring vacuum pump;
2. Poor lubrication, grease drying up or too much;
3. Improper installation of bearings;
4. Bearing corrosion, abrasion and scratch of raceway.
Processing methods:
1. Re-alignment;
2. Improve lubrication conditions;
3. Re-adjust bearing position;
4. Replacement of bearings.
