Difference between Centrifugal Blower and Roots Blower

Blowers, sometimes simply called fans, are widely used in the fields of metallurgy, minerals, smelting, sewage treatment, chemical fertilizers, aquaculture, etc. According to the different materials and uses, blowers can be divided into many kinds. Centrifugal blowers and Roots blowers are two different kinds of blowers. Customer service of high-pressure blower manufacturers will introduce them to you.
The difference between centrifugal blower and Roots blower is mainly manifested in the following two aspects:
1. Roots blower and centrifugal blower have different working principles.
Roots blower is a kind of volumetric blower, which relies on the impeller's rotation to achieve air transmission. There is always a small gap between the impeller of Roots blower and the inner wall of the casing, between the impeller and the wall panel, between the impeller and the impeller, so that, driven by synchronous gears, gas can be transported from the inlet of Roots blower to the exhausted side along the inner wall of Roots blower shell.
The working principle of centrifugal fan is similar to that of centrifugal fan. The high-speed rotation of the rotor drives the air to move at high speed. The centrifugal force is used to make the air flow in the involute shell to the outlet of the fan along the involute.
2. Roots blower and centrifugal blower have different working parameters and using places.
Roots blower belongs to constant flow volume blower, the main parameter of which is air flow. The output pressure of Roots blower varies with the change of pipeline and load, but the change of air volume is very small. Centrifugal blower belongs to constant pressure blower. The main working parameter is pressure. The output air volume varies with the change of pipeline and load, but the pressure does not change much. Therefore, if the load needs constant flow effect, Roots blower is the preferred choice. The centrifugal blower is even better if the load requires a high pressure effect.
