Start-up of water ring vacuum pump: Long-term shutdown pump must rotate by hand for several weeks before starting, to ensure that there is no stuck or other damage in the pump. Start in the following order and close the valve in the intake pipe. Start the motor (the motor must turn correctly). Open the valve 6 in the water supply pipeline and supply water to the pump until it meets the requirements.
When the pump reaches the limit vacuum or maximum pressure, open the valve in the intake pipe and the pump starts to work normally. It is best to adjust the packing cap when the water drops out.
Through the valve to adjust the water supply of the pump, to ensure that the pump operates under the required technical conditions, so as to minimize power consumption, achieve performance indicators, and meet the working requirements. Adjust the water supply to the steam-water separator in order to use the minimum water consumption to ensure the technical specifications required by the pump.
When the pump works under the limit pressure, the explosion may occur in the pump due to physical action, but the power consumption does not increase. The valve in the intake pipe can be opened to let it enter a small amount of gas, and the explosion sound disappears immediately. If the explosion sound does not disappear and the power consumption increases, it indicates that the pump has malfunction and should stop for inspection.
Stopping of water ring vacuum pump: Stop in the following order: Close the valve on the intake pipe. Close the water supply valve and stop the water supply to the pump. Turn off the motor. Close the replenishment water valve. If the parking time is longer than one day, the water in the pump and steam-water separator must be emptied to corrode.
